WEP KeyGen
Handly little tool to create WEP keys with a passphrase.

Broadband Speed Tests

Here are a few of my favorite broadband speed tests. Please keep in mind that these tests can only test your actual throughput to the site which is running the test, so always make sure to choose the test site closest to you.

Run a few different tests to get a general "consensus" on how fast your connection is.

  • The "NDT" servers are generally more accurate.
  • The 2wire test is really fast but tests download only.
  • The DSL Reports Test is ok, but they are usually busy so results tend to be more innacurate.
  • The "Speakeasy" test is new. It has lots of test locations, a really nice interface, and appears fairly accurate.
